UAE Encouraged By Human Rights Watch to Re-think Media Law

New York-based Human Rights Watch on Sunday urged the United Arab Emirates to amend a proposed media law it says will restrict the freedom of the press in the Gulf’s second-largest Arab economy. The group’s head of research for the emirates Samer Muscati told reporters at the launch of its latest report entitled “Just the Good News, Please: New U.A.E.
